Locality Guide

If you’re looking for a laid-back, relaxed lifestyle, then look no further than the Bayside.

The Bayside, on Redlands Coast, comprises a number of suburbs with access to water, several major shopping centres and urban areas - yet there is still a country feel to the whole area.

With wonderful opportunities to enjoy and take part in markets, bushwalking, fishing, shopping, cinemas, arts and crafts, the suburbs in the Bayside offer low-key lifestyle options.

Moving to the Bayside is proving an attractive proposition for many, with the choice ranging from Ormiston, a one-time farming community now a desirable residential area with bay views, to Capalaba, with its major business and retail centre and recreational, cultural and community facilities to Victoria Point, one of the fastest growing suburbs on the Redlands Coast with a mix of residential, conservation and commercial areas plus two major shopping destinations.

Several nearby islands are reached from Victoria Point, the gateway to Coochiemudlo and Redland Bay, the departure point for Russell, Karragarra, Lamb and Macleay Islands.

We haven’t even had time to tell you about Cleveland, Wellington Point, Alexandra Hills, Mount Cotton, Thorneside, Birkdale, Sheldon, or Thornlands - contact us for more information about interesting individual suburbs which make up the beautiful Bayside.
