Promotional Period:
Start date: 1 September 2021 at 12:01 am AEST
End date: 30 November 2021 at 11:59 pm AEST
 
Eligible Entrants:

  1. Be the registered owner of a property in the Redland City Council or Brisbane City areas
  2. Over the age of 18 years.
  3. No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the Promotion.
  4. Properties registered under Corporations and Trusts are eligible to take part in the competition with the maximum number of entrants for each entity being five.
  5. Employees of the Promoter and their direct family are ineligible to take part in the competition.
  6. Subcontractors of the Promoter and their employees (including their direct family members) are ineligible to take part in the competition.
 
 
Entry to Competition
 
To enter the Promotion, the entrant must complete all the following steps during the Promotional Period:
  1. Be an owner of a property in Australia; and
  2. List your property for sale or for management with LJ Hooker Property Centre (or one of its authorized agents working under the LJ Hooker Property Centre brand) within the promotional period – the property must be located in the Redland City Council or Brisbane City areas.
  3. Have completed and signed the necessary documents with LJ Hooker Property Centre (or one of its authorized agents working under the LJ Hooker Property Centre brand) to sell or manage your property as outlined below including a Form 6 – the Form 6 MUST be dated within the promotion period
  4. Complete a competition entry form
 
 
Sufficient proof of ownership of the property will be required by The Promoter to be eligible for the competition – property ownership will be assessed using the property’s registered title.
 
In the event there are multiple parties listed as registered owners of the property on the title, the competition prize will be transferred into the name of ALL register owners up to the maximum allowed on the transfer documents of the prize. In the event there are more registered owners of the property than can be transferred to the prize it will be up to the discretion of The Promotor as to which names the prize will be transferred into.
 
 
Competition Prize
               
  1. The competition winner will receive a White MY21 MITSUBISHI LB2M44 ES 1.2L MIVEC CVT AUTO (including 6 months registration & compulsory third party insurance, dealer delivery and stamp duty).
  2. Total Recommended Retail value: $17,800.00
 
 
Prize Draw
 
The draw will be completed in two stages with an elimination round as followed:
  1. Elimination Draw – 3rd December 2021 at LJ Hooker Property Centre’s office at 5:00pm AEST via Facebook Live
    1. Ten entrants will be drawn at random to go into the final to win the prize.
    2. Each of the ten drawn finalists will be notified by phone or email and via LJ Hooker Property Centre’s Facebook page.
  2. Final Draw – 10th December 2021 at Raby Bay Harbour at 5:00pm AEST
  3. Each of the ten finalists drawn in the previous round will be invited to Raby Bay Harbour to partake in the final draw.
    1. If one of the ten finalists is unable to attend they must advise The Promotor in writing that a named representative will be at the event and is authorized to open the box on their behalf
    2. If a finalist or their representative does not attend the event then their chance at the prize will be forfeited and the number of boxes will be reduced to accommodate the number of finalists in attendance 
  4. At the event ten boxes will be set out with one containing the key to the prize.
  5. Each finalist will at random stand behind one of the boxes and be asked to open the box in front of them.
  6. The winner of the prize will be the one who opens the box containing the key to the prize.
 
 
Winner Notification
 
The winner will be published on LJ Hooker Property Centre’s Facebook.
 
Unclaimed prizes:
  1. Prizes must be claimed and transferred into the winners name(s) by 10th January 2022 at 4:00 pm AEST.
  2. In the event of an unclaimed prize, the prize will be redrawn on 10th March 2022 at 4:00 pm AEST at the offices of The Promotor – there will no public event for the redraw
  3. The draw will be at picked at random between the other finalists that were present at the original final event on 10th December 2021 at Raby Bay Harbour
 
Additional Terms
  1. No part of the prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other prize or transferable.
  2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any claim, action or delay arising from this competition or any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the prize, any delay or failure relating to the prize itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these Conditions of Entry or otherwise.
 
 
Privacy
  1. Entrants' personal information will be collected by the Promoter. Personal information will be stored on the Promoter's database.
  2. The Promoter may use this information for future marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting the entrant electronically. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and its privacy policy which is located at http://www.ljhooker.com.au/privacy-policy. The Promoter's privacy policy contains information about how the entrant may access, update and seek correction of the personal information the Promoter holds about them and how the entrant may complain about any potential breach by the Promoter of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other Australian privacy laws and how such complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to enable them to participate in this Promotion and may disclose the entrants' personal information to third parties including its contractors and agents, prize suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting this Promotion and to the State and Territory lottery departments as required under the relevant lottery legislation. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter or claim a prize in the Promotion. The Promoter may transfer entrants' personal information to countries specified in the Promoter’s privacy policy. Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter cannot guarantee that any overseas recipient will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles. By entering this promotion, entrants consent to overseas transfer on these terms and agree that the Promoter is not liable for any such breach.   3. For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may only publish the winner's surname, initial and State/Territory or postcode of residence.
 
Disputes
  1. If there is any dispute to whom an entry is awarded or any other matter, the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding.
  2. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, apart from any remedies available in the applicable legislation, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into.
 
General
  1. The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Entry and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Conditions of Entry, unless stated otherwise.
  2. The Promotion commences on the Start Date and ends on the End Date ("Promotional Period"). Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the entrant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.
  3. Valid and eligible entries only (as determined by the Promoter) will be accepted during the Promotional Period.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to request for further proof of ownership of the property.
  5. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these Conditions of Entry. By submitting an entry form, you will be taken to accept the Conditions of Entry of this competition.
  6. All entrants’ release the Promoter from any liability, cost, claim, damage, loss or expense arising out of, or in connection with, entry into this competition.
  7. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and their guest for the prize may be required to sign a legal release as determined by The Promoter in its absolute discretion, prior to receiving the prize.
  8. Any guarantees or warranties, express or implied, are excluded to the maximum extent possible an law but for avoidance of doubt, these Conditions of Entry do not purport to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  9. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of The Promoter, The Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation without further notice to the entrants.
  10. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
